Lake Como Tour

A tour of Lake Como is one of many excursions offered by Hotel delle Nazioni.
Lake Como is roughly 45 minutes from Milan and we can safely say that this is one trip worth making for every visitor to the city. With this tour you can see the whole of Como and explore the city's various attractions.
The excursion is divided up into 3 stages; part of the excursion is on bus, some of it is on foot, and another part takes place on board a private boat. The departure of the bus from Milan is scheduled for 9:30 am and the meeting point is in Piazza Duomo.
Arrival in Como is estimated to be around 10:30 am and once you have been dropped off by the bus, a knowledgeable tour guide will accompany you on your discovery of the old town. You will have the pleasure of visiting the Cathedral, the Broletto, the square in front of the Church of San Fedele, the city walls, and medieval towers.
At around 11:30 am, the bus will then depart for the shores of Lake Como. Here, a private boat will be waiting for your arrival; this will take you out to the first basin of the lake for an unforgettable mini-cruise. While you are sailing, you will be shown some of the lake's most famous villas, such as Villa Olmo, Villa Erba, and Villa d'Este, and many more.
After an hour or so, at around 12:30 pm, we will make our way back to dry land, again by coach, and we will head towards one of the most important silk factories in the city, the "Diffusione Seta". The manufacture of silk is one of the main business activities in Como and its silks are amongst the most famous in the world. At the Diffusione Seta outlet you will also be given the opportunity to do a spot of shopping should you wish to purchase these items of exquisite quality and beauty.
The tour will come to an end at around 14:00 pm, when the bus will make its return journey to Milan.
The tour of Lake Como is only available on Sunday and schedules may vary depending on weather conditions.
The price of the tour includes transportation by bus from Milan to Como and vice versa, mini-cruise aboard a private boat, and tour guide.
